Suffering In Humility!

Human beings are not born to be free from suffering, nor are we born to live sinless lives! We are simply, “not perfect”! No reason anyway, not to try and live “humble in suffering”. Most people would want to lead a LIFE OF HUMILITY, only when life seems to be GOOD to them, and would not hesitate to start crying and lamenting as soon as trouble starts to rear its ugly head in their daily engagements. Some people would go as far as curse their life and blame others for their woes, or even lay the blame in GOD! Remember the story of Job in the Bible? (JOB 3: 1 “After this, Job opened his mouth and cursed the day of his birth”……) In the end, after so much suffering Job was able to triumph because he accepted the will of God, accepted his weakness as a human being but  remained  humble even in the face of suffering, ridicule, alienation and humiliation from others including close friends and indeed his own wife! Job remained steadfast in his belief in humility, perseverance and not accepting to give up hope, shun good and embrace evil!

In moments of  tribulations, humans are likely to stray and commit wrongs just so as to try and maintain their lives of  luxury by whatever  means necessary, even at the cost of  others’ lives, if not their own lives! Life is full of challenges and every good thing has its bad side! There is evil lurking in the dark corners of life in every good that you do, waiting to pounce on you and unleash what may seem as insurmountable barricades. We cannot afford to lose our human sanity and the sanctity of life by allowing miseries to take control of our lives. We must always be humble and offer appreciation for the good life that we may be living and not be vain, pompous, proud and arrogant. Stop complaining whenever you feel like life is not BEING FAIR to you! Your basketful of hardships could never compare to other peoples container loads of problems! Whatever we do in life we must always be prepared to counter the hurdles thrown into our way. Life is an endless struggle that can only be neutralized by humility. Be good, do good, always and learn to be humble, patient and never lose hope!

In The Image Of GOD!

Man is the Greatest creature on Earth! The book “Animal Farm” [by George Orwell] proclaims that ‘all animals are equal …. some are more equal than others’! Scientifically Man (Humans) is classified as an animal, but then Man is ‘more than just an animal’. He is the image of GOD! , "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness… (Genesis 1:26) God’s delegated authority, bestowed upon Man, gave Man the honor and glory of being the Ruler of all the living creatures in the face of the Earth. Man has all the powers necessary to subdue and control all other ‘animals’. It may seem like child’s play to be able to have some of the world’s biggest and/or fiercest animals perform on circus shows! Cheetahs,  lions, elephants,  some of the most poisonous snakes, but this likeness to God is much more than that. Most people are afraid of the power of darkness and the ruler therein; the devil himself. The serpent, satan, devil, use whatever name you know/want, is a living creature like any other creature. Powerful as this creature may be, remember the ultimate ruler over all other creatures is Man! Give the devil enough space in your spiritual sanctuary and you become the slave of the powers of darkness. We human beings have the power to desist any evil temptations and the ability to crush any evil emissaries and adversaries. This is inherent power that cannot be bought from any hypermarket or mall! We have to believe in our naturally endowed supernaturalism when it comes to the ‘superiority of animals’. (Genesis 1:26) continues ”….let them rule……..over all the creatures…….”.

Any Man yielding to the so called pleasures of the flesh, be warned; the powers of darkness can only be subdued through the acknowledgment and acceptance of the spiritual needs of humanity. WE, HUMANBEINGS have the power to discern, disarm, and annihilate the devilish encumbrances that are always throwing themselves in the way of our righteous living. Get up now, be counted, as you take your humanly rightful place in the honorable fight against evil living. Keep the IMAGE alive!
